With the Gates Quad-Power™ 4, Rubix offers a high-performance V-belt for HVAC applications. Thanks to innovative tension member technology and modern EPDM material, these belts are 100 % maintenance-free. Run-in phases, tension losses and re-tensioning are therefore a thing of the past. This in turn reduces downtimes and maintenance costs and increases system efficiency.
The Quad-Power™ 4 offers up to 98 % energy efficiency, is halogen-free, extremely temperature-resistant (-50 °C to +130 °C) and ATEX-compliant. Thanks to its high load capacity, it allows for more compact and lighter drive designs, which has a positive effect on space requirements and costs.
Typical applications include HVAC systems as well as ski lifts, filling machines, lorries and buses, steelworks, dough machines, compressors, pumps and conveyor technology in the timber and construction industries. The belt is available in many profiles (XPZ, XPA, XPB, XPC, 3VX, 5VX) and lengths between 600 and 5,080 mm, optionally also in PowerBand™ design.
