Montalpina AG reworks rolling bearings of the earthquake centrifuge at ETH Zurich

The simulation of ground movements due to earthquakes, landslides, tsunamis or river erosion is the key task of the research centre at the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering at ETH Zurich. The rolling bearing revision of the centrifuge required for this was carried out by Montalpina AG.

Montalpina doubles the service life of rolling bearings in rock crushers

Stone crushers are process-relevant plants for the provision of construction materials, the smooth operation of which ensures a constant supply of crushed stone and gravel for construction sites. Reliable operation of these plants is therefore essential. Around 10 years ago, Holcim therefore embarked on a new path with Montalpina AG to increase the production reliability of these plants while simultaneously reducing maintenance costs.

Condition monitoring ensures CabriO cable car operation

The CabriO cable car to the Stanserhorn, which opened in 2012, is still one of the main attractions in the region around Lake Lucerne. Due to a failure of the cable car caused by a defective cable pulley in 2019, the operating company of the Stanserhorn cable car decided to sign a condition monitoring contract with Montalpina AG.
